 Reading Is Fundamental and The Coca-Cola Company joined forces in June 2001 to bring the joy of reading to America’s children and families. RIF and Coca-Cola are raising awareness about the importance of reading in homes, classrooms, and communities.
 The Verizon Foundation generously supports multiple technology initiatives at RIF. These initiatives streamline processes for coordinators, enabling them to spend less time on their RIF program's administrative matters and more time working with the children and families they serve.
 Since 2004, Macy's has donated more than $5 million in support of RIF. Through customer supported fundraising campaigns, in-store events, and volunteer activities, Macy’s has helped increase awareness about RIF’s mission to help all children discover the joy of reading.
 Thanks to a generous grant from Capital One Financial Corporation, more than 56,000 children and their families now have an opportunity to participate in RIF’s Family of Readers' program. Chief Financial Officer Gary Perlin announced the three-year, $1.25 million commitment at RIF's first annual Gift of Reading Gala in Washington in 2005.
 A strong supporter since 2004, Colgate-Palmolive has partnered with RIF to help families make bedtime fun and healthy. Over the last five years, Colgate has contributedmore than $1 million to RIF to provide hundreds of new book collections to children nationwide.
 The New York Life Foundation’s charitable arm focuses on helping young people fulfill their potential through the “Nurturing the Children” program. Their funding supports programs that teach youth to be responsible, successful adults. Funding from the New York Life Foundation currently provides lending libraries, early literacy trainings, and books to children in three states, serving over 6,300 children.


For the past four years, Dollar General has been a generous supporter of RIF programs in eight states, serving more than 22,000 children.

As a dedicated supporter of children’s literacy and a longstanding community partner, US Airways and RIF joined forces to provide nearly 80,000 books to more than 25,000 children served by RIF programs throughout the country.

In 2007, Holiday Inn Express and RIF launched the “Stay Smart” campaign. This year, Holiday Inn Express is giving customers an opportunity to support RIF at all of the 1,800+ Holiday Inn Express locations through various “Stay Smart” promotions.

Nestlé USA has been a longtime supporter of Reading Is Fundamental, both at the local and national level. Through the generosity of Nestlé and the corporation's matching gift, they have provided funding for more than 70,000 books for 21,500 children in 18 states.

MetLife Foundation is a longtime supporter of RIF and has contributed generously since 1976.

UGI Utilities continues their generous support of RIF programs in Pennsylvania to help provide eve more books and resources to first graders.

The Carmax Foundation has partnered with RIF to provide 100 free custom book collections to RIF programs nationwide.

 As part of a new two-year partnership, Borden Milk will donate 30 high-quality book collections to RIF programs throughout Texas and Louisiana.
 General Dynamics supports organizations that have an educational, social, civic, or arts focus. Their strong support of RIF programs nationwide help provide nearly 60,000 books to approximately 17,000 children each year.
 Oriental Trading Company began their support of RIF in 2010, becoming RIF's first motivational activity partner. As the nation's largest direct marketer of party supplies, arts and crafts, toys, and novelties, and a leading direct marketer of home décor products, Oriental Trading helps provide tools to thousands of local RIF volunteers and coordinators to assist with creating book distributions in communities across the country.
 The Mazda Foundation is dedicated to building a better tomorrow through support of meaningful programs that make a difference by enriching the communities where their employees live and work. Together with RIF, the Mazda Foundation helps provide books and literacy resources to thousands of children in California and Michigan.
 Pitney Bowes, Inc. a committed and generous supporter of RIF’s literacy efforts, works to foster literacy development within the communities where their employees live and work. Pitney Bowes's support has enabled early childcare providers to participate in Care to Read training workshops, expanding their knowledge of children’s literacy development.
 The Sallie Mae Fund is on a mission to increase access to higher education for America's students by supporting programs and initiatives that help open doors to higher education, prepare families for their college investment, and bridge the gap when no one else can. Sallie Mae helps provide funding for RIF programs at 17 schools in seven states and also hosts a strong employee volunteering program.
 The Starr Foundation provides funding to educational, medical and healthcare, human needs, public policy, cultural, and environmental organizations. The foundation currently provides funding for literacy training and lending libraries for children throughout New York.
